The children in the Nursery came to school in their Pyjamas on Wednesday to mark the launch of the Big Bedtime Read. The Big Bedtime Read is a programme to highlight the importance of reading and to encourage our parents to read to their children every night. More photos are available to view on the Nursery Page on the website.
The Primary 4 children have been learning all about Diwali and Indian culture this term. The pupils in P4B have taken part in the Diwali Programme for Schools delivered by SECA over the last few weeks. The pupils were given an Indian and Diwali PowerPoint information session, an Indian art session on Rangoli and a food demonstration and taster session on how to make Indian curry. The boys and girls loved learning about the different ingredients, and tasting the finished product!
Many thanks to Daljeet for visiting the school and working with the pupils and also to Kamini for organising this. The pupils enjoyed the programme very much and learned a lot. More photos are available to view on the Primary 4 page.
This week is Anti Bullying Week. The theme of this year's campaign is "One Kind Word". The children in Primary 5A have recorded a special assembly to highlight the importance of kindness.
