Representatives from the charity "Action On Hearing Loss" gave a presentation to the Primary 7 children on Monday. The children got to discuss the various issues involved with the deaf and hard of hearing. The children also got the opportunity to learn some sign language.

Well done to Frank, Ellie, Ellie, Lillie and Enya who won prizes for this weeks Anti-Bullying Poster Competition. Also congratulations to James who won the NI Anti-Bullying Poster Competition. Well done to Maks and Michael who won the Anti-Bullying Poster completion in the Junior School. Also well done to Joe and Niamh who also won the anti-bullying competition.

Free parent yoga classes with Annie Deery continue at the Junior School at 11am on a Wednesday morning. All parents welcome. Contact the Junior School for further information.
Tom O'Dowd from Sustrans came to St Mary's on Friday to discuss the importance of wearing bright clothing when walking or cycling to school. As the clocks went back last week the mornings and afternoons are getting darker so it is important to make it as easy as possible for car drivers to see you when you are near a road.
The children presented cheques to representatives of Strabane Down Syndrome, SANAS, HURT, The Koram Centre and The Foyle Hospice earlier today. The money was raised from the recent sponsored walk. Photos of the cheque presentations are available to view on the Sponsored Walk page in the Gallery.
