It was another fun day in St Mary's today with Halloween Discos and parties. The boys and girls looked fantastic in their scary Halloween costumes. The children begin their Halloween break today, have a safe and happy holiday and we will see you all again on Tuesday 2nd November. More photos of the children can be viewed in the School Gallery on the website.

There was great excitement in St Mary's today when Cathal McShane and Ronan McNamee brought along the Sam Maguire and Anglo Celt Cups. Well done to Riley and Hollie winners of the signed Tyrone jerseys. More photos are available to view on the Sam Maguire page in the Gallery.
Congratulations to the St Mary's Nursery Team who have received accreditation from the Northern Ireland Forest Schools Association. Both the Melmount and Ballycolman Nursery sites now have official Forest School status, and our teachers have been awarded OCN NI Level 3 in Leadership in Forest Schools. The children in the Nursery have had the great benefit of learning in the great outdoors and enjoying the Forest School activities every "Forest Friday". Congratulations to all our Nursery staff.
Well done to the Head Boy and Head Girl and their deputies who were elected by their P6 and P7 peers this afternoon. Thirty eight boys and girls put their names forward and recorded speaches which were then shown to the Primary 6 and Primary 7 children before the vote was held. Well done to Head Girl Caitlyn, Head Boy Brody, Deputy Head Girl Easkey and Deputy Head Boy Luke. These boys and girls will represent the students of St Mary's for the coming year. Congratulations!
