Applications forms for P1 and Nursery places for September 2018 are now available from the EA website or a hard copy is available from the Junior School office. If anyone would like to meet with a member of staff for a tour of the school or to discuss enrolling at St Mary's please contact the school. The closing time for submitting the application is no later than 12 noon on Wednesday 10 January 2018.

Santa's sleigh has now arrived in the Junior School Foyer! Thank you very much to Fred and Terry from Holy Cross College for all their hard work.

St Mary's P.S. has joined "The Daily Mile" initiative, where the children walk jog or run for 15 minutes each day at school, parents will receive a letter this week with more details, more information can also be found at www.thedailymile.co.uk
Well done again to everyone who took part in the Road of Hope Shoebox Appeal this year. A video of the children loading the van with 531 Shoeboxes is now available to view on the Road of Hope Page.
A representative of Macmillian Cancer Support came to the school on Friday in order to receive a cheque for £1075, the proceeds of our Coffee Morning on the 28th September.
Well done to everyone who took part in the 2017 Road of Hope Appeal. Another fantastic response to this appeal seen 531 shoeboxes collected yesterday. The organisers of this appeal were once again overwhelmed with the response from our school. Well done everyone. A slideshow is available to view on the Road of Hope Page in the Gallery. A video of the boxes being loaded on to the van will be available to view next week.
Well done to all the boys and girls in the Senior School received attendance awards for the first term, those with 100% attendance received a gold award, those with 98% attendance received a silver and those with 95% attendance received a bronze. Remember every school day counts!

We would like to thank children's author Wes Magee for his visit this week. The children really enjoyed the poetry show and writing workshops. More photos of Wes are available to view in the school gallery.
