Well done to the Ravenclaw reading group in Miss Kennan's class who have read over one hundred books between them in the past two weeks. Children from P4-P7 can continue to use myON to read books during the mid-term break.

Our Primary 6 children are really enjoying their topic this term, learning all about the Second World War. Easkey and Oliver brought in some artifacts from the time, an old Home Guard helmet and some 1940's newspapers. Meanwhile Mr. O'Neill's class created a fantastic Air Raid Shelter at the back of the classroom, Jayden and Luke are pictured waiting for the kettle to boil!
DE needs parent’s views on the Scheme to deliver Direct Payments in lieu of Free School Meals and the School Holiday Food Grant Payment Scheme.
DE Payment Schemes Survey The Department of Education is currently evaluating the effectiveness of the two similar but separate payment schemes: a scheme to deliver Direct Payments in lieu of Free School Meals and the School Holiday Food Grant Payment Scheme. These schemes have been providing financial support of £13.50 per child per week, as necessary, to families of children entitled to Free School Meals since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. I have been asked to forward you the attached link to a short survey which will also assist the Department of Education in planning for any future payment schemes. I would encourage you to complete the online survey - it should take no more than 2 minutes. We are especially interested in the views of parents whose children are entitled to Free School meals. Congratulations to Dylan in Primary 3 the first pupil in the Junior School to earn a Mathletics Gold Certificate!
Well done to all the children who are participating in Mathletics each week and earning Bronze and Silver certificates. Congratulations to Darcie in Primary 5, the very first pupil on the Senior School to earn a Mathletics Gold certificate!
