Primary 4 children received certificates from Mr McLaughlin yesterday for the successful completion of the Paired Maths Programme. The feedback from parents and pupils alike was overwhelmingly positive. Thanks to all the members of staff and parents who made the programme possible and well done to all the boys and girls!
Well done to all who participated in the Families Connect Programme Recently. The Programme supports parents and carers to create a home environment that enhances and promotes learning. Parents/carers found out how they could support their children in Literacy, Numeracy and Social and Emotional Development, trying out and bringing home a different activity each week to support their children in each area.
Well done to all the children in the Junior School who took part in Mad Hair Day, and all the children in the Senior School who took part in the Cake Sale and Raffle today. Lots of money has been raised for Trocaire with these fundraising events. More photos are available to view in the School Gallery.
Genevieve the goat and her friends came to the Junior School, Senior School and Nursery today to talk to the children about making healthy choices, taking regular exercise and eating five pieces of fruit and veg every day. Thanks to Cancer Focus NI for organising this event.
Mr Tumble can to visit the Primary 1 and Nursery Children yesterday in the Junior School. The boys and girls had great fun playing games and singing songs. Thanks to Strabane Down Syndrome Support Group for organising this event as part of Down Syndrome Awareness Week.
Happy St Patrick's Day to all the pupils, parents and friends of St Mary's, have a nice break, we look forward to seeing you all again on Tuesday.
Yesterdays "Wear Green" day was great craic, a short video of some of the singing and dancing that took place can now be viewed in the School Gallery. Well done to Mrs Scally's P6C class yesterday on their St Patrick's Day themed assembly. A video of the assembly is available to view on the Primary6 page.
