
![]() Autism NI are holding three Autism workshops in the Alley Theatre on the 2nd, 9th and 16th of April. These workshops are aimed at parents of children with ASD. ![]() On the 14th March the Primary 7 pupils helped the conservation volunteers with their efforts in the new school garden. The pupils built bird boxes and an "insect hotel" a short video can be seen on the school garden page. St Mary's pupils and school principal Mrs O'Doherty present Sharon Hasson and Ruth Huey with a cheque for over £500, the proceeds of a non-uniform day. Sharon and Ruth are trekking on the Great Wall of China in September in aid of Barnardo's. ![]() Pupils from Mrs Cooke's P4 class visited the Carlton Drive Community Association on Wednesday for a puppet show run by Scallywags in association with Include Youth. The boys and girls really enjoyed the show and would like to thank Scallywags and Include Youth. ![]() Tudesday 25th of February saw the launch of the Primary 3 Paired Reading Project. Each child receives a new book each day and commit with their parents to read for a set amount of time each evening. They received certificates today (Friday) marking the occasion. ![]() Congratulations to Primary 7 pupil Aaron McGrath who won a Gold Medal as part of the boys under 12 Inter County Relay team at the All Ireland Athletics Championships. ![]() The School recently received a grant of £4800 from NGO Challenge Fund to develop our Outdoor Environmental Classroom. The garden was designed using the children's own ideas.
